Al Z… is a neighbor of mine. As a horticulturist I rate him my equal, as do I for another guy that went into the public trough and got out of the Nursery Industry.  Wish I had thought of dat!  As a mineralogist and rock collector I am but a gnat compared to Al. Lets just call him Al Vugosfsky.

Ruth Ann’s huge quartz crystal would sell for 300.00 but is not for sale. It is only PART of a huge geode that has white pink nearly perfect crystals. WOW! My photography did not do it justice. Here are a few of Als offerings. I will also upgrade some of my own shortly – and maybe my photography skills.  😀

Minerals at the Spruce Claim record a complex mineralization history and includes barite, carbonate minerals. It has been a source for museum quality quartz and pyrite specimens. The claim is a private chain owned by Bob Jackson and collecting is only allowed on fee-based field trips.

Spruce claim quartz crystals of WA. site begin with this 4 clear t middle fork Spruce claim owned by Bob Jackson. I enjoyed the porcupine form (35.00) that had large scepters. These are cabinet size specimens with clear perfection of form and the great condition of the crystals themselves. They are totally white and originally grew in Vuggs being created by drippings of siliconized water in a granodoirite base. (akin to granite) Some of these even have inclusions of pyrite, or black siderite. These THREE rocks would sell for $299.00 ea. Shipping is free!

The larger porcupine specimen would be 350.00.

This is another Spruce claim quartz crystals of WA. and has a GREAT pyrite inclusion.
This pyrite quartz rock is bigger and perhaps has more goggle appeal than the smaller crystals listed earlier, but the quality and clarity of the crystals is poorer than the above. Both have euhedral (6 sided crystals but the difference with the scepters are that they are an interrupted process and show a two step growth. In this case a smaller base that waited until growth began again and the top of the scepter is like the ‘royal’ one bigger on the top than at the base. I can think of another knobby scepter analogy but I can’t rise to the occasion. This rock would sell for 99.95. Shipping is free!

Returns must be insured as I have done, and be equally well protected! All rocks will be photographed before and during packaging.

Heulandite is the name of a series of silicate minerals of the zeolite group. This huge crystals came from the ‘Rats Nest Claim’ near Challis, Idaho. These four pieces would be 34 dollars ea. Or 50.00 dollars for the larger ones. These are a bit unusual for the pink, color and are usually found in geodes (sweet geodes) with gas pockets. The white material inside is mordenite a soft white material. Larger Individual crystals in a good matrix can sell for 100 dollars. Shipping is free!

Peterson MT near the CA. Nevada border provided the next two quartz’s which I fell in love with. They were found near the town of Hallehula junction. The first and more eye caching for visual effects is the first sample. It is a Smokey quartz with amethyst highlights and in the sun, rainbow lights appear within, like fire obsidian. Both are large rocks and this would sell for 165.00. Shipping is free!

Both rocks have Double scepter heads and were seated upon a growing stem as one of my pictures shows.  A closeup!

Peterson MT near the CA. Nevada border provided the next two quartz’s which I fell in love with. They were found near the town of Hallehula junction. !The first and more eye caching for visual effects is the first sample. It is a Smokey quartz with amethyst highlights and in the sun, rainbow lights appear within, like fire obsidian. Both are large rocks and this would sell for 135.00. Shipping is free!

Both rocks have Double scepter heads and were seated upon a growing stem as one of my earlier listings showed. Slow growing mineral mushroom indeed.

The second rock is more black and does not have the color fascination of the first. Mind you this is in  the SUN, but it has a fascinating cleavage of 3 large clean squares. In the house, this actually might be the more interesting stone. 135.00 dollars. Or buy them both for $290.00!

I am sure you will be pleased in either.  Returns must be insured as I have done, and be equally well protected! All rocks will be
photographed before and during packaging.

THANK YOU for visiting!

All rocks can be combined into flat rate boxes and so can multiple slabs. They cannot however be combined! (Rocks with Slabs) As the rock is heavy This individual sale will need to go into a small sized flat rate box. Combining it with other sales would be the better plan.
